The photos throughout this website come from either my arts-based research and teaching initiatives, or from my teaching encounters with the many amazing B.Ed., PBDE, and graduate students I am lucky enough to work with at the University of Manitoba.
Many of the photos were taken at Kings Park, Winnipeg as part of the 2018 Summer Writing Institute that I co-taught with Dr. Michelle Honeyford. We were engaging in place-based literacies--learning to notice, care, and cultivate compassion for the local and global--by exploring many perspectives of the park through writing.
